Each year during the SVC TechCon, the Foundation organizes a 5k run/walk to raise funds to benefit the Academic and Industrial Scholarship Funds. We are offering two events again for 2026: both in-person and virtual ! Please also consider sponsoring this event for a great cause.
Details:
- Choose to run/walk in-person with us in Long Beach on Wednesday morning, April 29
or choose your own virtual 5k route, anytime between May 1 – May 31 - For virtual event, submit a screenshot of your phone/watch to enter your time for consideration of medals and team awards
- Team Challenge (see details below)
- Corporate sponsorships available – $350 with company logo printed on technical t-shirt
- $40/person, sign up when you register for the TechCon or sign up here!
Team Challenge
- Minimum 4 members/team (we collect the top 4 times from each organization)
- Top team wins a traveling trophy
- No additional fee!
Sponsorship Opportunities
Corporate sponsorship opportunities are now available for the 20th Annual 5k Walk/Run. Add your logo to the back of the official 5K race technical t-shirt. Your company logo will highlighted on this website and also be seen on shirts around the world! Register today! Sponsorship registration is easy!

In Person: Meet outside the Long Beach Convention Center by 5:50 AM to walk to the start. Please pick up bibs and shirts at the TechCon registration desk by end of day on April 28th.
